Before you start you need to remember God is a living creature far more intelligent than us so you can't fool him. This might be scary and terrifying for us to take in, but once you get used to the thought it's quite comforting and a positive experience. Also remember this: God has seen all of your and other people's bad behavior so nothing's news to him, that knowledge will might make the following task a bit easier for you to complete. God see you all the time (yes, even right now), he read your thoughts and even knows your emotions. So when you think of it; it's better to get this done the sooner than later, cause it's nowhere to go or hide anyway. And after you have done this change you will understand and learn so much more about yourself and life in general.
The methodology contain 4 tasks and first I'll explain how the 4 tasks works one by one. You don't complete any task before you understand how to do them precisely and then put them all together in one task as a 18 hour fasting and prayer period.
Please don't rush this even if you're eager for the result, try to remember this is actually the beginning of your new life and you'll have alot of time to enjoy later.
Here are the four elements in the methodology:
Self-reflection
Praying
Breathing technique
Fasting
The most painfull task in this methology is the first one and I beleive it's the reason for many people don't have a relationship with God. This is of huge importance and in my opinion the "fast track" to a good and solid relationship with God.
Self-reflection on your own behavior through your whole life might be painful, but it's the most important task for be able to connect with our God. I've to emphasize this: It's a human sign to do wrong, but we need to admit it. The most important part of this task is to admit to yourself and God you have done wrong in all the situations you remember and obviously bothers you in your subconscious.
If you deny your own "historical wrongdoing" you'll never succeed with this task, it's supposed to hurt a bit.
A tip for success when denial is appearing is to remove your own ego; See yourself as another person. Don't even think for a second making excuses for your own bad behavior, you need to take responsibility for your own actions and never ever make any excuses. God knows what you have done, so it's no problem. He just wants you to repent so he can be able to help you and change you so you won't repeat it. The changing part is of huge importance and will only take place inside you as a teqnicality if you are honest about your selfreflection part. Here i'll explain how and why this as a fact:
When Paul (in my opinion the greatest human Theologian ever) had an encounter with God at Damaskus (ref. Acts 9, 22 and 26) he was changed. It wasn't only his mindset changing, but he actually got a new spirit inside himself. Gods spirit (The Holy spirit) went into Pauls body and mind and changed his way of thinking and acting. When you read Acts of the Apostles you are not only reading about the historical actions those guys were doing, you are actually reading about how The Holy spirit acted. God is The Holy spirit and he took place inside of all of the humans whom beleived in Jesus as God and saviour of the human kind. That actual Holy Spirit mentioned in that story is also available for taking place in your body, and that's whats going to happen if you're honest and do these tasks the right way, it' works as a technicality and a fact (I'll explain this part in more details later on the website - under; The Holy Spirit).
One of my personal reflection storys which ended with a great feeling;
I used to have a repetitive bad "recollection-experience" from my younger days when I used to be "a jerk". I beleive that because of that I was "haunted" by my own memory. There was espesially one situation which came to my thoughts along with a bad feeling. The situation was about me bullying and not helping a schoolmate when he needed some assistance. I wasn't the worst one, but I certainly wasn't a good friend either. One can say I let things happen instead of helping him out when needed. The situation was I actually liked the kid, but I let myself join in when someone else picked on him. One day (many years after our last situation of conflict) I tracked him down on social media and sent him an genuine excuse. I wrote it as it was and I remember how it was painful (the writing part) at the start, but when I finally pushed the "send" button I was filled with a feeling of comfort and love. I know today that feeling was God showing me a bit of his love and a bit of his Holy Spirit took place inside me. Thankfully I was taking my full responsibility in the letter and not making excuses for myself.
When you have started to process your earlier behavior and admit it to yourself you should feel better already, because God is forgiving you at the same time as you are regretting. It's quite easy when you have started and should make it easy to continue on your list. This prosess is of huge importance and hopefully you will continue it for the rest of your life. In prairs we ask God for a change, we ask him to change our hearts so we can be transformed into better people. The only way this will work is to submit, admit that we need this change and to work along with God for getting the change done.
Praying to God is in my opinion a way of having a conversation with Him. There are many ways to pray, but in my opinion I would like to recommend following; make sure you are not disturbed while praying and pray while closing your eyes and folding your hands. We're in this situastion showing remorse and at the same time showing Him we're submitting to Him. I would also recommend to light a candle.
The prayer is like I said a conversation between you and God and since this prayer is about you establishing a relationship with God it's exactly that you should pray for; "please God, see me as I am, I'm surrendering to you. I'm full of remorse for my old and bad behaviour, please make me into a new person." This is only an example, please remember God knows you so use your own words and thoughts. When God answer you also inside your head as a thought he will most likely speak to you using "your own way" and words of speaking.
Important points for your prayer to be an success:
Be genuine as well as grateful while praying.
Your first goal is to establish contact with God so start praying for your own self-reflexion to be a success.
Then pray for your future behaviors to be of better character.
To sum it up in short: Pray for help to be a better person.
This is supposed to be a personal conversation between you and God so you need to find your own way, I would insist for you to pray silently (think the words) instead of speaking the words out loud. I will soon explain why this is more succesful for you.
Pray for your own forgiveness and connection, that's the most important.
You may prepare your prayers in writing before your final task; when you're combining all the four tasks together.
This might seem a bit weird, but the importance of correct breathing technique can't be undermined in human life. You need to breathe through your nose and keep your mouth closed all the time later in this task. If you're a boxer or a figther of any kind you know how important breathing is while performing fysically. Also when it comes to strength exersizes you can see how important it's for humans to breath correctly: Here I present some additional arguments for what proper breathing technique (through the nose) provides us:
Increased ability to concentrate.
Better oxygen uptake.
Removal/filtration of bacteria and dust.
Reduction of acid in the mouth which provides better dental health.
General limitation of bacterial flora.
All the mentioned benefits contribute to the improvement of your physical and mental health, so please close your mouth while praying and do the task inside your own head.
Element number 4: Fasting 18 hours.
If you have been fasting earlier you have a huge benefit, but this is anyway a bit different since I recommend you to drink water and even coffea/tea if you like. The most import in this task is to make you closer to God. It's positive your body's getting "cleansed", but not the most important point. Have a drink of water with a bit of fresh lemon juice every time you get hungry, the lemon provides vitamin C and it's a bit refreshing as well. You are suppose to avoid solid food for 18 hours so I would recommend you do this when you're not working or having any hard exercises at all.
When you're putting all the 4 tasks together your fasting period will contain 6 sceduled times of prayers and the time of prayers are: 00.00 - 03.00 - 06.00 - 12.00 - 15.00 - 18.00
When you have understood all the tasks one by one it's time for putting them all together and actually go through the methodology.
After preparing yourself by reading and coming to the understanding of all the four elements one by one, it's now time to put it all together and make the connection with God.
You will need a day off work for doing this and the best is being alone if possible. It's very important you won't be disturbed by others and that even goes for telephone conversations, sosial media and television. If you like some kind of "company" in the pauses between prayer time I will recommend music of calm character (christian, classic or instrumental), but remember while praying you should turn off the music.
The times you carry out your prayers are these: 00.00 - 03.00 - 06.00 - 12.00 - 15.00 - 18.00
Total 6 praying periods included the first one at midnight - The time you spend while praying varies from 15 to 30 minutes, but time is not the biggest issue, your genuinity for wishing your contact is the most important.
You go to bed when you are done, but you do not get much sleep as you have to repeat your prayers 5 times in the next 18 hours.
After your final prayer at 18.00 you stop your fasting and enjoy a good (prepared) meal for the first time in 18 hours.
(Since you are low on calories during this 18 hour period you may sleep between every praying period)
First I would like to say we all have different weight of load on our shoulders and I beleive this will have an huge impact on how we experiance the connection with God. My own experiance while making the contact was like being saved from demons and a foretaste of heaven at he same time, but I beleive this came from my huge "remorse-account" if that makes sence to you. In other words; the more you have to be remorsefull about the better you will experiance your connection with God because the change will feel significant.
So lets say you're not the worst person in this world I will presume you will experiance an emotion of safety and care during the fasting and prayer period being a solid sign of you've made a connection with God.
So how does the connection with God feel like in a fysical matter?
For me today when I pray I feel his awereness like love and comfort, it's like a tickling feeling and emotions whom comes from my gut and fills my heart with joy or even comfort. It depends on your mood actually; if you're down, he will comfort you and if you're troubled he will most likely help you solve your problem.
If you experiance this you know God is providing you with his Holy Spirit and now you have a contact and a relationship with Him. It's amazing, overwelming and something I would recommand anyone to enjoy, but you're not actually "safe and sound" because of this being a fact. Because now it's time to make this relationship to grow and last for this lifetime, so click your way to the next page for learning what to do for keeping the contact with God.
